Fresh to the press

A new semester means new writers for the Hawks Post. Not only does that mean more stories, but it also means new voices writing these stories. Our new additions to the staff are senior Chloe Krueger, junior Sonny Pamonicutt, and sophomores Abigail Rabideau and Alex Radtke. I thought it would be smart for us to get to know these new writers more so that their writing becomes more personal.

What is your favorite color?

“My favorite color is the color black,” sophomore Alex Radtke explained. “There is more seen than what the eye actually sees. In the middle of the night people usually just see the darkness, but there’s always more than just the darkness.”

“My favorite color is blue,” senior Chloe Krueger stated. “It’s like the ocean, and it always reminds me of warm places.”

If you could be any animal, what would you be?

New staff hard at work.

“I would like to be an eagle because in America they represent freedom,” sophomore Abigail Rabideau said.

“I would want to be a monkey,” junior Sonny Pamonicutt stated. “That way I could be in the jungle and be able to eat bananas whenever I want.”

What is your favorite food?

“My favorite food is gum because you can play with it… haha…(uncomfortable silence),” Krueger said.

“I don’t have a favorite food,” Radtke explained. “I really don’t like to pick favorites. Honestly if food tastes good and it’s edible, I’m fine with it.”

What are you looking forward to the most in this class?

“Spending time with everyone here and writing articles that I wouldn’t normally think of writing,” Rabideau shared.

“I want to… what’s it called? Broaden my horizons… yeah… that,” Pamonicutt said.

We’re looking forward to a great semester and we can’t wait to see all of their improvements!
