Hello Hawks Post readers! We’re back this week with another episode of Questions From the Freshmen, a column in which I answer questions sent in from the freshman class at SCHS.
Response #2: Is school going to be normal again? Can I change my electives?
What a good question! I am also wondering if school is going to be normal again. Right now, there is so much uncertainty about the way the rest of the school year is going to go, but I still have hope. Hopefully if we continue to follow all of the CDC guidelines we will be able to return to school as normal. I honestly don’t see the rest of first semester being normal, and I know that’s not what any of us want, but it is what it is.
As far as changing your electives, it depends on what quarter you are talking about. We are nearing the halfway point in this quarter, so it is too late to change your current electives. Next quarter you can change your electives during the first week or two of your classes. Get in contact with your counselor for the specifics of class changes!
Thank you for reaching out. I know that I don’t have a lot of answers for you, but I hope I helped you with at least one of your concerns.
